History of the Unit Mönchengladbach
The unit was founded by Dr. Torben Thomsen and a colleague in 1992. Since then, the company has grown constantly to become a reliable and recommended partner in Drug Development. Almost 20 years now, the unit has offered its services to Sponsors from the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industry, investigating for and with them the effects of specific compounds in man. Especially by the performance of clinical trials, CRS-Mönchengladbach contributes actively to the drug development, side by side with the Sponsors.
With a wealth of experience in both pharmaceutical and university research, high safety and technology standards, CRS-Mönchengladbach offers advanced options in drug research, as for instance, First-in-Man studies, First Efficacy and QTc trials, pharmacogenetic approaches and specific volunteer panels.
Our Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures guarantee high quality results. The know-how of our medical team, our flexible structure and the advantages of our facilities permit a smooth organisation, a prompt decision taking and saves precious time: A real profit for the Sponsor. Since the beginning of our clinical services in Mönchengladbach, more than 50 German and international Sponsors trustfully work with CRS-Mönchengladbach and its associated partners.
Since 2006, CRS-Mönchengladbach is a part of the CRS-Andernach Group. Today Dr. Torben Thomsen and Dr. Manfred Möller are representing our unit as Managing Directors.
