After its move to Mannheim in August 2004, the CRS clinic conducted more than 250 trials. This comprises humanpharmacology trials including First-in-Man and Proof of Concept studies in volunteers and patients using multiple functional models for PD assessment. 60 permanent and well experienced staff are available for study conduct. Full- and  part-time physicians (two board accredited in Anesthesiology and Clinical Pharmacology), subject recruiting nurses, study  nurses, project coordinators and pharmacists.

The Mannheim Area is an urban surrounding with 2.5 Million inhabitants within a diameter of 50 km. This facilitates subject recruitment of either healthy young, elderlies or patient volunteers from Baden-Württemberg, Rheinland-Pfalz and Hessen.
